B&A Projects Win Urban Land Institute Vision Awards

Two Bulley & Andrews projects were recognized at the 3rd Annual Urban Land Institute Chicago Vision Awards, held June 4, 2014 at Redmoon Theater. The Vision Awards recognize visionary developments, programs, leaders and young professionals in the land use and development fields.

Hansberry College Prep, a Noble Network Charter School, was presented the award for Innovation in Education. Located in the Auburn Gresham (Brainerd) neighborhood of Chicago, the project entailed the remodeling of and addition to a former parochial grade school for a new 1,100 student charter high school. Learn more about the project here.

John Marshall Law School’s Urban Campus Expansion took home the award for Urban Innovation. The project included the acquisition and extensive exterior and interior renovation/restoration of 19 W. Jackson Boulevard, extensive exterior and interior renovation of 304 S. State Street, interior renovation of 312 S. Plymouth Court and streetscape improvements. Learn more about the project here.
