B&A’s Work Helps Welcome Students Back to School
While summer is a time for educators to take a break, for Bulley & Andrews, summer is often when we are the busiest. Making the most of schools being unoccupied, Bulley & Andrews collaborates with our educational clients to complete construction projects in often compressed time frames. From necessary maintenance work to full-scale renovations, our team provides a full complement of services to meet our clients’ goals and schedule parameters.
This Fall, Bulley & Andrews helped several area schools, administrators and teachers welcome students back to new and improved facilities. Among them: the new Lycée Français de Chicago campus, North Central College’s new dormitory, renovations for the new Rowe Middle School, and additions to both Chiaravalle Montessori School and Rogers Park Montessori School.
With significant K-12 and higher education experience, Bulley & Andrews has developed a keen understanding and specialized knowledge that benefits the varied needs of our educational clients.
Partnering with the Lycée Français de Chicago, STL Architects and PMA, Bulley & Andrews delivered a project that addressed the school’s particular needs, including technology-enabled classrooms and community-centric gathering spaces. The new 86,000 sq. ft. building is light-filled and welcoming, providing the perfect environment to support its educational philosophy.
Celebrating the ribbon cutting for the new Rowe Middle School, 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins commended Bulley & Andrews for their dedication to the project. Ron Manderschied, president of the school’s operator Northwestern University Settlement Association, specifically thanked project superintendent Dennis Houlihan for his tireless efforts to complete the project in such a short time frame.
Helping our clients provide quality learning opportunities for their students, Bulley & Andrews recognizes the importance that environments play in education.
