Lowell House Condominiums

Building compression, environmental conditions and steel corrosion led to the following:

  • Water infiltration at the windows
  • Spalling brick masonry
  • Spalling on concrete at slabs and columns

BAMR utilized scaffolding on the west elevation to complete the following repairs:

  • Removal and installation of new masonry at each floor/bay level on the west elevation
  • Repaired back-up CMU/concrete
  • Installed new stainless steel pan flashing at each floor/bay level
  • Installed new membrane flashing at each floor/bay level
  • Stained historical standard-size masonry blend to match existing
