Lowell House Condominiums
Building compression, environmental conditions and steel corrosion led to the following:
- Water infiltration at the windows
- Spalling brick masonry
- Spalling on concrete at slabs and columns
BAMR utilized scaffolding on the west elevation to complete the following repairs:
- Removal and installation of new masonry at each floor/bay level on the west elevation
- Repaired back-up CMU/concrete
- Installed new stainless steel pan flashing at each floor/bay level
- Installed new membrane flashing at each floor/bay level
- Stained historical standard-size masonry blend to match existing
